Terps Racing Team Featured On Fox 5 News

On December 14th, the Clark School’s Terps Racing team was featured on Fox 5 News (WTTG-DC). Reporter Annie Yu visited the team in College Park and interviewed Crew Chief Kevin Nichols, Project Manager C.J. Gorrell, Chief Engineer Stephen Chung, and team members Michael Jaja, Christina Boehmer, and Jimmy Schultz about their involvement.

The team discussed a variety of topics, including the process of selecting drivers for their award winning Formula SAE and Baja teams, their goal-setting process, the competitions the team plans to enter in 2012, and the rigorous technical preparations that the team’s successful cars undergo before they are ready to race. The team provided Yu with a look at the day-to-day workings of the team and even gave her a chance to drive the Baja car.
