ENME Graduate Program
Graduate education and
research is an essential mission of the Mechanical Engineering
Department; the most critical component of our research program is the students who carry out the
theoretical and experimental studies under the guidance of our faculty. Without the dedication and
outstanding work of our highly accomplished graduate students much of the valuable and challenging
research carried out in the Department of Mechanical Engineering's diverse laboratories could not take
place.
The A. James Clark School of Engineering, which has ranked in the top 20 in the U.S. News and World Report's Graduate School rankings since 1997, prides itself on the production of highly knowledgeable and skilled graduates. Our graduate course work is designed to offer both a breadth of understanding, while also providing an outstanding and comprehensive education in a student's particular area of research interest.
