Research Review Day
The Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Maryland, College Park, hosted a Research Review Day on March 14, 2008. The intent was to update our friends and alumni on the wide range of pioneering research conducted in the department. Come see why The Chronicle of Higher Education ranked the Department of Mechanical Engineering among the top 10 mechanical engineering graduate programs in the country.
Events included a panel discussion on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the department, tours of our major research labs, and a showcase of research project posters. The event will be held at the Jeong H. Kim Engineering Building, and will feature Dr. Jeong Kim delivering the keynote lecture. Technical leaders from industry, government, and higher education, along with university alumni, faculty, and graduate students are invited to attend.
